Title:CTIP Visitor Seung Hwan Myeong

Seung Hwan Myeong (Ph.D, Syracuse University, 1996) is a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Public Administration, Center for Technology and Information Policy of the Maxwell School, and is Associate Professor of Public Administration, Inha University, Incheon, Korea.

Myeong's research areas are focused in electronic government and e-governance, information management in public organizations, and information and communication policy.

He has served as President of the Korean Association for Regional Information Society, as Managing Director in Chief, the Korean Forum for Electronic Government, and as a committee member for the evaluation committee of the Korea Customs Service.

His publications include Electronic Government (co-authored, 2006), Information Society and Modern Organization (co-authored, 2004), and numerous articles in the fields of e-government and policy and information and computing policy in the Journal of Information Policy and Korean Policy Sciences Review.
